- Providing treatment for the bones, muscles, joints, spine, chest and eyes.
- Treating injuries and conditions such as: cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns/scalds, small splinters and sudden poisoning.
- Treating casualties who are unconscious (including seizure), choking, wounded, bleeding and/or in shock.
- Recognising the onset of major illness and providing appropriate treatment for heart attacks, strokes, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes and anaphylactic shock.
- Introduction to an Automated External Defibrillator.
