Mental health training
Being under pressure at work for short periods is normal and may even help overall performance.
But too much pressure over a prolonged period (whether that pressure comes from home or work stresses, or a combination of both – and employees will start to feel unable to cope.
The resulting stress or ‘burn out’ can lead to serious health issues such as heart disease, strokes or diabetes, if not addressed.
Our workshops provide the skills and knowledge to manage stress to achieve resilience and attain mental and physical wellbeing.
They include:
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
- Mental Health Awareness Training for Managers
- Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training
- Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Lite Training
They can be delivered at the MOHS Training Centre or onsite at a client’s premises.
We can also create bespoke programmes to meet the specific corporate needs and budgets.
Employers are legally required to assess the risk of stress related ill health arising from work activities and to take action to control that risk.
