A great opportunity to join a small but growing independent occupational health and employee wellbeing business as the Digital Marketing /Business Development Executive.

Your role will focus on the creation, delivery and measurement of marketing campaigns through a range of digital channels and opportunities, and you will work closely with – and report to – the Chief Executive to transform the marketing capability, for example by managing a Microsoft CRM system, including ClickDimensions.

You will improve and maintain existing digital marketing channels, using your robust knowledge of Google Analytics and social media management. You will be responsible for website content and updates.

Qualified to degree level or CIM Marketing Diploma, you will come from a strong digital marketing background and have a good understanding of SEO, PPC and adwords.

You will have strong writing skills; and experience of business development ie managing lead creation and conversion.

An interest in workplace health and employee wellbeing is desirable.

• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
• Oversee a social media strategy
• Manage and maintain the corporate website
• Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts eg Facebook and Twitter
• Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
• Attain KPIs such as reducing website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
• Continually work on the SEO of the website
• Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
• Write and post blogs, videos, podcasts and audio content to online site
• Maintain and update content of Microsoft Dynamics CRM re new business leads/client data
• Maximise conversion rates of quotes and new business enquiries
• Arrange webinars and webcasts on different aspects of employee wellbeing
• Write copy for email marketing campaigns and produce regular eshots for relevant parties
• Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments
• Work on printed material to supplement online services
• Attend networking events and develop partnerships with mutually beneficial third parties
• Develop excellent networking and relationships with internal, external and potential stakeholders

Key Skills / Experience
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English
• Experience of developing proactive and creative marketing campaigns with a proven record of success
• Editing and writing skills: able to devise and edit content for various digital platforms and SEO enabled content
• Communication skills: to communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders
• Video editing skills: website and social media content will not only be text based but also visual
• Web development skills: ie a working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript; strong understanding of SEO; WordPress administration; PPC;
• Have advanced Word and Powerpoint skills
• Project management skills: good at handling time sensitive projects and working to deadlines
• Good organisational skills with a focus on attention to detail
• Develop and manage online data capture via CRM system
• Experience in working with external agencies ie design, web, print, promotional materials
• Experience of operating at a strategic level in the growth and development of a digital marketing function

Person specification
• 3 – 5 years’ digital marketing experience spanning the full spectrum
• Keen interest in new technologies and trends in digital marketing
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Commercial awareness and a track record of high quality lead generation (results orientated)
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvements to benefit the business
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of integrity while representing the values of the company
• Must be a car driver and have own transport
